2012 Royal Copenhagen Christmas Plate

The 2012 Royal Copenhagen Christmas motif was designed by Sven Vestergaard, who found his inspiration in the view from Denmark's 3,000 kilometres of beautiful coastline. Here a sailboat is sailing past Denmark's largest wind farm, Horns Rev out in the North Sea. This motif has been used to decorate the plate, bell, cup and drop. The title of this years plate is : Sailing the North Sea The Royal Copenhagen Christmas Plate has been in production since 1908.
