The Christmas plates from Royal Copenhagen have been issued every year since 1908, each year with a different motif. This years' annual Christmas plate, as well as the cup, bell and drop motifs have been again designed by Allan Therkelsen. The motif is the Christmas tree salesman who has chosen only the most beautiful trees to sell at Nytorv, in the center of Copenhagen. Here, you can feel the presence of history... just marvel at the old lamppost. The white dove in the sky brings Christmas peace which is also featured as this year's figurine. A little baby roe deer hungrily eyes the crisp apples in the windowsill. The house looks cozy and warm inside as it has been decorated for Danish Christmas with roses and a bow on the mistletoe.
