2014 Royal Copenhagen Drop

This year's motif is designed by Sven Vestergaard and shows two children, Alfred and Matilda, en route home with a delightfully small Christmas tree. The children are depicted in front of Copenhagen City Hall,admiring a statue of the famous Danish author Hans Christian Andersen. Royal Copenhagen takes great pride in the long treasured Christmas plates, which have been hand crafted for over 100 years and continue to be an expression of Danish history and cultural identity.
