2013 Bing & Grondahl Christmas Bell

A small boy with a big heart is the motif ornamenting the Bing & Grøndahl Christmas Plate – the world's oldest plate. This little boy, having decorated a Christmas tree for the forest animals, is now lighting the candles in front of the animal audience. The wise owl, perched on his pole, is taking in this beautiful sight. The motif decorating the plate, number 119 of the series and designed by the Danish artist Jørgen Nielsen, reappears on Bell and Drop. " Light in the Snow " is the title of this years Bell. This is the 34th edition of the Christmas Bell.
